Before the course, I really thought that I was a good or at least above average driver, but that my new Ferrari was trying to kill me. With your analysis and coaching, I quickly realised that my driving technique left a lot to be desired, and that I really did not know how to handle the car.

I feel that the course and your numerous teaching methods and pointers have improved not only how I drive, but my whole approach to driving. I did not previously understand the physics acting upon my car, and how I influence them with my own inputs to the pedals (especially the accelerator) and steering wheel, but I certainly do now. The result is that, road permitting, I now have much greater confidence to use much more of the 488’s performance whilst retaining full control.

The wet handling sessions were not only great fun but taught me to trust the car and its amazing ESC system, now intuitively able to correct and control understeer and oversteer skids. The opportunity to turn ESC off in a safe environment was hugely worthwhile, not only to enjoy some big powerslides, but also to further appreciate ESC; I now understand what it does and why it triggers. This understanding means that I now confidently drive the car in all weather conditions (in fact, I now have even more fun if it is wet!).

The final day of the course, driving on road, was a further massive boost to my confidence. The techniques you gave me for controlling the decisions of other road users, especially in narrow road situations, work every time! In summary, I found the course to be simply crucial and fantastic.
