It turned out to be a much needed eye opener in regards to how easy it is to get all comfortable, protected inside your own little environment, surrounded by technology that far exceeds the majority of driving ability out there…

Take away dynamic traction/stability control and be prepared to be humbled. Then chuck in an emergency stop from high speed whilst avoiding an obstacle to appreciate an ABS management system at work! I look forward to pushing into further techniques, such as left foot braking, but had to accept that my current abilities needed refinement first. On that note I would recommend a day with Ivan to highlight where you are really at with your driving: he will no doubt leave you with plenty to work on…
